Upload, paste, or drag in an image to scan a QR code from a screenshot — or scan live with your webcam. All processing happens locally in your browser.

Phones make scanning printed codes easy, but a QR code that is already on your screen — in a screenshot, an email, or a chat — is awkward to point a camera at. This scanner solves that: give it the image and it reads the code directly. There are three ways to hand over an image, and all of them work with PNG, JPG, WEBP, and GIF files.
Decoding is 100% client-side: the image is analyzed by the ZXing library running inside your browser and is never uploaded anywhere. That matters when the code is a boarding pass, a payment QR, or anything else you would not email to a stranger. Once decoded, the result view shows what the code contains — a link, WiFi credentials, a contact card, a UPI payment — with sensible actions for each, so you can inspect a code before trusting it.
Open the scanner, then either upload the image file, drag and drop it onto the page, or copy the image and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac) to paste it. The code is decoded instantly — PNG, JPG, WEBP, and GIF images all work.
Yes. Take a screenshot of the code, then paste it into the scanner with Ctrl+V or upload the screenshot file. This is the easiest way to scan a code you received in an email or chat on the same device.
No. Decoding runs entirely in your browser using the ZXing library — the image never leaves your device, which makes the scanner safe for tickets, payment codes, and other sensitive images.
Yes. Grant camera access and point the camera at a QR code — it is detected and decoded live. Camera video is processed locally and never recorded or transmitted.
Any standard QR code: URLs, WiFi credentials, vCards, WhatsApp links, UPI payment codes, plain text, and more. The result view shows the decoded content with matching actions, like opening the link or copying the text.
